It All Started When…
At 17, I was living with a family member who refused to let me eat for days. Desperate and starving, I made a heartbreaking choice: I was used, molested in exchange for food. Not out of want, but out of survival.
What happened to me is nothing compared to what’s happening to girls even younger, older, even babies. That experience was the moment God used to open my eyes and set fire to my heart, to show me the why, the how, and the what to do next.
Yes, that experience revealed my purpose. In trying to help and understand the girls still trapped on the streets, I’ve risked my own life, because I want that same freedom for them.
I am not a survivor, but I’ve stood beside many who are. Helping each girl I’ve encountered has humbled me. Like many people, I once had no idea what human trafficking really looked like.
Now, I do. And I can’t look away.
I want to educate more girls and families, raise awareness, and build a community where women stand together, speak up, and fight for freedom, against silence, against shame, and against sex slavery.
This is my purpose.
Lovy’s Angels is just the beginning.
Since then, I’ve lived with purpose, driven by the desire to see girls and women own their voices, own their stories, and reclaim their freedom.
We are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, fighting to end human trafficking and child hunger because no one should ever have to choose between dignity and survival.
Lovy's Angels organization is a non-profit, non-political, and non-discriminatory organization.
We aim to become a model for protection, empowerment, and defense of the rights of victims of human trafficking, sexual slavery, and sexual abuse who live without justice.
Our mission is to create a loving community in the midst of uncertainty for children to learn, grow, and become leaders in their own right, meaning one less potential victim of human trafficking.
